Rob McInnes Engaged by Cytophenix as Advisor

Cytophenix is pleased to announce the engagement of Rob McInnes as Intellectual Property (IP) & Partnerships Advisor.

Rob is the Principal of Rob McInnes IP Advisory, a specialist practice he founded after more than 30 years in leading national and international law and IP firms. He is widely recognised for his expertise in IP transactions and advises clients on the management, protection and commercialisation of intellectual property rights.

In addition to his advisory work, Rob is an active angel investor, a Limited Partner in several venture capital funds, a mentor within start-up accelerator programs, and a regular trainer in IP strategy and commercialisation.

Rob holds degrees in protein chemistry and law (LLB). He is a Certified Licensing Professional (CLP), and a Registered Technology Transfer Professional (RTTP). He has been ranked for a decade in the IAM Patent 1000 as Australia’s most highly recommended patent and technology licensing lawyer.

At Cytophenix, Rob will support the company’s IP and partnering strategy, providing strategic input into the planning, negotiation and structuring of licence agreements and R&D collaborations.
